Theresa’s birthday may have come and gone, but I have one last gift: the trailer for a classic film from her childhood (one would assume).

I want one of these for EVERY MOVIE. People in the 80s really knew how to cut a trailer.
I looooved the previews at the beginning of VHS tapes when I was a kid…and now I get furious if I can’t skip them on a DVD.
I watch The Nightmare Before Christmas on VHS every year* and it has previews for The Mighty Ducks 2 and Gargoyles. It’s wonderfull.
*at Christmas, because it’s a Christmas movie. None of this Halloween movie nonsense.
I finally convinced my family to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas with me last year (at Christmas). It felt like a moral victory.
I love that movie so much.
Hold on, is that my age-inappropriate husband Robert Redford? Maybe I’ll see this movie after all.
He’s pretty great in it. You can tell all the older actors Marvel has hired for supporting roles (Jeff Bridges, Anthony Hopkins, etc) have had SO MUCH FUN doing it.
Was that our good friend Caleb from The OC at 2:39?
Not possible. He died in season 2.
