Who Else Wants to Put Their Hand Inside This Magical Finger-Deforming Box?

Remember that childhood trick where you would put your palm against a friend’s palm and then run the thumb and forefinger of your free hand over two of your touching fingers and it felt like you were, like, feeling your friend’s finger as though it were your own? I always loved the weird perception you’d get, as though your brain was instantly rewired for a second or two. That’s what I suspect putting your hand in this device feels like–eerie phantom limb sensations or a slight out-of-body experience. And I want one for my living room.

Let’s start a betting pool on how long it will take until someone adapts this technology to let you simulate really weird sex.

Around the one minute mark, he starts getting some serious hand of Fatima action going on #shoutouttotheFatimas

  3. I used to work with a guy who was born missing a finger, basically a Simpsons hand. He would trace his hand on various white boards in the office which somehow was always hilarious to see.

Yeah, but can that box do this?

I was going to up the ante with that trick where you wiggle your middle fingers, but in searching for a gif of that, I found this one instead, which, in light of recent events, looks less like a weird trick and more like a threat:

This trick absolutely blew my mind when I first saw it. I think I was way too old to have been as impressed as I was, like 12 or 13. Young man fatima just did not “get” magic.

what about that one where you close your eyes, and your friend runs his/her fingers slowly up the inside of your forearm, and you try to guess when he/she has reached your elbow-pit? I was terrible at that one! it’s so hard!
