Some Of Us Still Like This Show, Right?

I’m willing to look past the Age of Ultron shtick and watch (once I figure out what the hell Yahoo! Screen is and how it works).

  1. I will continue to watch this show. I mean, if I can get around to figuring out how to get it on my tv.

Not that I would ever condone such activities, but you COULD hypothetically get a browser plug-in that will let you download the video, or just give it a few days and it’ll be on torrent sites. If it were downloaded, it could be streamed to a gaming device (I know PS3 or PS4 for sure, never tried the others but I’ve been told they work).

  2. Eh, I think I’ll wait and see what the consensus is before jumping in. Sidenote: Alison Brie is so pretty and has such pretty hair.

    • facetaco says:

She can certainly do a lot better than Pete Campbell.

      • I give Vincent Kartheiser so much props (many props? I don’t know the correct props terminology) for shaving his hairline to play Pete. It just looks so bad.

        • facetaco says:

He gets a whole plethora of props from me. Unfortunately, he may have damaged his career beyond repair, because I’m not sure I can ever see him as anything other then Pete Campbell, which means I will always want to punch him in the face.

As an interesting sidenote, it’s odd how much everybody loathes Pete Campbell, both on-screen and off-screen, considering he’s probably the most competent employeee at Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce Cutler Gleason Chaough.

He will have ALL of the props forever for this alone.

The last season was actually very good so I’ll watch this even though it’s a major bummer that Troy and Shirley are both gone now. We couldn’t have at least gotten rid of Chang too?

  4. martinmegz says:

I loved this show so much in the beginning but then it lost its heart. At one point all of the characters turned into Jeff Wingers, which I hated. So I’m probably done with Community.

    • Agreed! They also started focusing too much on Chang and he’s really the worst. He was funny in small doses, but the more they put him in the show the more I hated him.

I compare this show to 30 Rock and Parks and it really is the heart that is missing. It’s just not interesting or sincere anymore (even 30 Rock was sincere, though less so than parks)

  5. Kate says:

The telecommuting screen prisoners addition is a nice touch.

  6. Sota says:

I haven’t watched this in many seasons…but I ran across some reruns on tv last week and remembered that it is so fun. I may have to start up again.

  7. summerestherson says:

I have continued and will continue to watch. I watched through the “gas leak” season!! That is true loyalty. I AM SO EXCITED FOR MANTZOUKAS THOUGH!

  8. Mintie says:

I will keep watching (also up to date, never lost faith!), because it’s addictive to watch a show that will give you not-that-great for a while then one stunning winner, like a TV series equivalent of a slot machine. Also, Rick and Morty is so good that I hope he can bring some of that greatness back to Community?
