A Spooooky Ghost Town

Well, we didn’t win that Inn, I don’t think, so here is another great idea.

Let us all go and live in a (probably) haunted town in Montana, because the Bureau of Land Management really wants us to.

Now, it doesn’t say anything about actual ghosts, but you know that place is as haunted as eff! Who wants to take the summer off and live a life away from the internet, but close to the ghosts and spectres of an abandoned mountain village?

Also check out the related ghost town/haunted site links recommended at the end of the story–something out there is probably right for us.

About mordonez

Mordonez has bestrodden the earth for over 40 long years, most of which he has spent not contributing to internet blogs. He resides in more or less Chicago, where he dabbles in playing all the musical instruments, and in being a big wheel down at the cracker factory.

  1. I was 100% down until I read “no running water.”

And no electricity! I dont know if I would be capable of living like this a whole summer.

      • old man fatima says:

It’s the summer, so long daylight hours, and you don’t have the internet anyway. Who needs electricity?! I could deal with no running water too if we were near a crystalline stream of fresh water and a waterfall that could be used as a shower.

    • flanny says:

I would be into no running water.

  2. artdorkgirl says:

Could Flanny raise her sheep? (her HAUNTED sheep??)

  3. martinmegz says:

This is our chance to re-enact Kid Nation! I am totally in!

  4. hotspur says:

We could make a community bulletin board and pin hand-typed articles to it about things we saw that day, like funny cloud-shape fails and wolves.
