Dinner And A Movie

Pizza Hut is no stranger to high tech dining, but this time, they took a low tech approach to a classic concept.  With the help of ad firm Ogilvy & Mather, the fast food chain has released a box that comes with lens and plastic stand.  Diners punch a hole out of the side of the box, then project the contents of a smartphone onto a wall.  The only problem is that it’s only available to patrons in Hong Kong.  Oh, that and mobile phones are gross.

Yesterday I ate half a deep-dish pizza and watched Bullseye by myself. Am I better or worse off than these people?

This is actually super cool, but the lens should come in a separate container. I don’t care that it’s on one of those table thingies to keep it off the pizza, there is no way that it won’t be caked with grease and bits of topping.

Ummmm in what context would you actually be using this???? Like with a friend who doesn’t own a TV or DVD player or???? Or maybe if you and your friends just want an impromptu pizza/movie night but you’re…outside? At a park? Your power’s out so you have no choice but to project a movie from your phone to the wall? I don’t UNDERSTAAANNNNDDDD
