It’s Friday! Let’s dance!

I’m glad this week is over.  Not because I was particularly busy, but because of a bunch of tedious shit I had to deal with.  Anyway, that’s in the past.  I don’t have any grand plans other than going to a movie and possibly an ice cream festival(!) on Sunday.  How about you guys?

It’s my One Direction concert tomorrow. How will I survive the next twenty-eight hours? My co-concert-goer and I are going to a fancy dinner beforehand and then spending the night in a hotel that had been abandoned for thirty years before being refurbished by a chain in 2008. So even if I survive the next few hours and the concert I will surely be killed by ghosts in the hotel Saturday night. WORTH IT.

I have to drag myself to the shoe store tonight but I’m fading fast. Originally I was going to go to the shoe store and then go to the clothing store and then have dinner and then go to a movie but I am starting to doubt that I can accomplish even one of those things because I’m so sleepy.

I am spending tomorrow with my sister trying to cheer her up after her loser boyfriend dumped her like the turdface that he is. I bought pizza rolls AND a french silk pie in preparation. I am going to comfort the shit out of her!

  3. My coworker has me freaking out about the possibility of lay-offs and I just feel so stressed right now. There’s been a lot of closed door meetings with the partners and that’s never good. So I get to spend the weekend updating my resume! FUN TIMES. I was supposed to go on a bike ride but now it looks like rain tomorrow.

Thank god I’m going to see my rockstar husband on Sunday (Tallest Man On Earth). He’s so pretty and sings soothing songs.

I have to work a lot this weekend. Hoping to also clean my car out, read a little, and get some other stuff around the house organized. Maybe a shopping trip and dinner out with Mr. Costco.

I complained earlier that I have been in a weekend rut of Netflix and general laziness. Flanny suggested bribing myself with a reward if I successfully ban Netflix/TV, so I’m going to try it. I’m not sure yet what the reward will be – I’m thinking chocolate cake or pizza.

Yay, it’s great! Let me know how it goes!

I usually reward myself with treats regardless of my productivity – the double chocolate marshmallow oreo frozen custard last weekend was just because – but this weekend, the reward will be better!! Thanks Flanny!

I got laid off today, so that kind of sucks. I knew it was a possibility, and I won’t miss the job, but I can’t stand interviewing. After being at the same company for 12 years, I’ll now be looking for my third job in a little over a year. Oh well. I’m about to leave for the beach, I’ll deal with reality on Monday.

No one else was going to the office today, so I worked from home. This meant that I slept up until the moment i had to be available, never changed out of my pjs and took a 2 hour lunch and went to a yoga class at the gym. Ive done basically nothing and I am out of the office on Monday. #employeeoftheyear

If there was any possibility that you haven’t been around the last 400 times I have mentioned it. This weekend is the OC Musical. I am currently OUT OF CONTROL with excitement! Flying out tomorrow morning! Trying not to be too overly dramatic about my love for the show…but no guarantees.

Can we just burn this week in a fire? Sound good?

I was told we are going to the beach on Sunday, so that’s what I’m doing. I’m going to do as little as possible until then.

  9. Since I spent the entirety of last weekend cleaning my apartment, this weekend I just want to lie in bed, watch tv and chill out. Maybe get drunk at some point. It’s going to be a blast!
