I knew the first term. I knew the last term. THAT’S IT.

I keep up on this crap because I do not want to look stupid in front of freshman. Once you lose them, they’re gone forever.
I feel more confident in my decision to tag this post with “damn kids”
All I could think while watching…
The BAE Systems man is my best friend.
No lie, I am currently watching a webcast hosted by BAE Systems, because I’m cool.
I also 100% thought that bae was just a reference to Beyonce. Oops.
Me too! I just came here to post that (not that sweet gif, though!).
It’s annoying that almost all of these profs are Gen X. MAN we get no respect. WE INVENTED INTERNET CULTURE YOU MILLENNIAL TWERPS.
Gen X will have its day in the sun again. Patience, old man.
I would like to subscribe to your zine, Casey.
You guys are always preferred over Baby Boomers, though. Those fuckers. Smh.
I know what SMH means.
I guess we’re not as good as “The Greatest Generation,” but as soon as the last WWII veteran dies any minute now, the coolest people on Earth will all be my people, woo hoo!
Agreed. Baby boomers are the worst. And they say that millennials are entitled. Ugh.
I was going to post a gif of Molly Shannon saying “don’t even get me started” because don’t even get me started on Baby Boomers. But then I googled and she was born in the last year of the Baby Boom, so she and I are done!!!! (JK, I love you, Molly.)
I knew none of these. I used to know “bae” but apparently my brain jettisoned it as useless information as soon as I learned it. Here’s hoping it does so a second time.
However, as a middle-aged man, I am consumed by a gnawing dread of being seen as irrelevant by a youth culture I do not understand so I have updated my name accordingly. If someone could photoshop my picture to include a smartphone and a speech bubble saying, I dunno, “Facebook!” or what’s more current, um… “Pokemon!” no wait, going the wrong direction, uh… “Zune?” yeah, that sounds hip and futuristic, it would be appreciated.
