It’s Project Club Time!

I totally rocked this week. I:

  1. Cleaned the apartment top to bottom
  2. Went through my closet and got rid of three garbage bags’ worth of old clothes
  3. Cleaned out the fridge
  4. Did two loads of laundry
  5. Went grocery shopping
  6. Vacuumed, finally
  7. Dyed my hair
  8. Wrote some words
  9. Made plans with friends
  10. Went to the dentist, which totally counts as a completed goal because the dentist sucks and my teeth still hurt.

GO ME. I AM TIRED. In celebration, this week’s goals are only to get some more writing done, and to take a break.

Get it gurllll!!!! You did way better than me. I didn’t even work on my closet at all. 😦 And I didn’t exercise on Monday, but I did Tuesday and yesterday and plan to today and tomorrow!

You know what I did do though? Schedule my date for traffic court – huzzah? When I got my speeding ticket last Friday that’s what the cop recommended, and basically told me that it would get thrown out. Uh, thanks cop? Why are you even writing me this ticket then? Why not just give me a warning?

  2. I had a pretty good week! I did a lot of writing, like 20 pages in 2 days, which is crazy for me.

    Goals for this week:
    1) Finish pilot (I might actually be able to do it this week!)
    2) Go to gym 4 times
    3) Do laundry
    4) KonMarie my apartment because I am tired of living in filth and clutter

My only goal was to recap Drag Race in a timely manner and I failed. But it wasn’t totally my fault! I didn’t get to watch the episode until late Tuesday night (because my sister asked me to watch the baby on Monday) and then when I sat down to write about it last night I got like 75% of the way through the episode when the Logo app gave up on life and I couldn’t get any clear screencaps. It had better be working better tonight so I can at least have a recap up before the next episode airs!

The Tournament of Hotties is obviously my new project but I don’t need help getting motivated. Any project that involves objectifying men turns me into the most gung-ho self-starter you’ll ever meet!

Femu was traveling for work the past week, and I made myself real meals all but one night.

I have not done much, especially not the one thing I really needed to do which was make the banner for my kid’s birthday but I guess I technically have another week. I have done exactly nothing on my closet organization. Also I discovered where the iron was hidden so I think I’m going to add “iron bedroom curtains” to my list. Also I have to order new contacts. This isn’t really a projects list so much as a To Do list. The big project is my closet and I’m not getting much done on that.

I had no goals from last week except to not be bummed my vacation was over. I was bummed.

For this week I really do need to write, or brainstorm, or something. I need to do something creative. Is that broad enough?

(Also, guys, happy St Pat’s! If I had thought about it last week I would have made my goal to make corned beef and cabbage in the crock pot today, and I would have succeeded!!!)

I forgot to wear green, and there’s people here at work wearing green, so I should be pinched (that’s policy, I think? In accordance with ancient celtic mores?). I even own a green shirt I never wear because it’s too green. Sorry shirt, I blew your one big chance. I don’t know why you stay with me.

I wore one green shirt at work and then got home and wore another green shirt to the library and then got home and changed into green pajamas (it’s 6:30). I’m living right!!! Erin go bragh and whatever!!

I haven’t updated since the original project post, but Portuguese is going really well! I took my intensive weekend of classes to sort of kick things off, now I am working through a language text book as well as using our old pal Duolingo, currently on a 32-day streak! Work is not necessarily helping, but my goal is to learn at least 10 words a day, and then focus on seriously hitting the grammar at weekends and on days off. I am so proud of myself, I really didn’t know if I could do it at the ripe old age of *cough*

As for other goals… Well, I’m still not married 😉
