Catching Up With Cumberbatch: Birthday Edition

Hi guys!  This summer, huh?  UGH.  If it’s not the heat, it’s the garbage fire that’s become politics on both sides of the pond.  We need something to take our minds off it all.  And that something is:

A few days before our lovely Benedict’s 40th birthday (my how time flies!) the BBC released their first promo image for series 4 of Sherlock.  Moffatt has hinted that this might be the last, as Martin Freeman and Benedict are fairly busy being in Marvel movies now, but both have said they’d like to keep it going, so who knows?  It’s not like Moffatt’s going to have “Doctor Who” to work on!  Anyhoo…what do we think?  Here’s my professional opinion: There’s going to be a dog that Sherlock tries to point something out to.  Silly Sherlock, dogs don’t work that way!

Also, in honor of Benedict’s birthday, I’m gonna post my favorite gif:

Ahhh look at the dumb old bloodhound! My brother has a dumb old bloodhound and they are crazy, slobbery, adorable monsters. Hope next season is just “Turner and Hooch: Sherlock Edition.”

If this is going to be the last season I assume that means Sherlock and John will finally profess their love for each other so I’m ok with it.
