It’s Project Club Time!

Last week’s post! I went to AAA, and, uh. Eventually I’ll run out of food and will have to go to the grocery store, so the problem will solve itself.

I also want to clean this week so the apartment looks nice when I get back from my trip, and I need to pack at some point (I’ll be gone from the 16th to the 20th, but don’t worry, I’ll have post queued up.)

  1. I did it! I went back to work! I’m here now!
It’s fine but also the same as it was before.
Coincidentally, my project for this week is to apply to the two jobs I saw this morning 🙂

Last night I finalized my Vampires #3 page count and sent it to the cover artist so he can build a cover that’s the right size. Now I’m waiting on him. Then there’ll be very minor touchups from me — literally 12-15 more hours of work — and I’m done with this project once and for all. What! (Done, that is, except for the massive PR campaign I’m sure to launch aaannny minute now.)

This time next week, I’ll be at GenCon — a project of its own — so I won’t comment much. I will miss you all. To prove it, when I get back, I am 100% going to watch Earth vs The Flying Saucers, just like I promised I would do in early July.

Where is everyone? Have the majority of us given up on hope of finishing our projects?

I exercised a few times in the last week. My goal for now is three times per week, so as long as I work out on Saturday and Sunday, I will have met my goal.

I cut my hair tonight and finished a couple of flyers for work. I also bought new car insurance because I found out that my current insurance was going to lapse tomorrow, and for some reason, the company I was with was no longer renewing policies in the state of Illinois. This annoyance was actually great because I am going to save a LOT of money per year, and I have more stuff, like roadside assistance.

I still haven’t quit my freelance job, so fingers crossed I get to that on Friday.
