I’ve had a very busy week, and it will continue to be that way this weekend. I’m going to a friend’s place for dinner tonight, which is at 5:30pm, so I’m officially ancient. Tomorrow I have volunteering in the morning, followed by a taco lunch and getting my oil changed. Then at night, I will be going to a Greek festival, where I will partake in my 2nd favourite cuisine. Then Sunday I am going to a football game, where I will get to see the Iron Anus for myself.

It’s HOMECOMING!!!! Woooooooot!!! I don’t care about football, but I’m excited about the game because our team is back-to-back conference champs aiming for a three-peat this year. And for Homecoming we’re playing my most hated college in all of the conference, and my second-most-hated college in the whole state. YOU’RE GOING DOWN, HOPE COLLEGE! YOU AND YOUR DAMN SWEATER SETS!!

I hear Hope College is where it’s at. Word on the street is, Olivet can’t hack it at sports OR book smarts.

Looks like I got a downvote! That must have come from one of the fine, upstanding students or alums of Hope, who nobly wish to discourage any negativity against the downtrodden and worthless lost cause known as Olivet. Such admirable sportsmanship! Such character. We could all take a page from their playbook, I tell ya.

I am on call this weekend because somebody needed their shift taken over and I traded him a shift I have in November that is during literally the busiest week of the year for my job so I am pretty happy about that. Today we had a conference call with my boss’s boss’s boss about the news that our company is now for sale and everybody was too scared to say that they’re pissed off about it so I took up the cause of complaining and told her all the shit that we’re freaking out about and afterwards she was like “…are you ok?” and I had to have a 45 minute phone call with her to discuss my concerns one on one which was exactly what I’ve always wanted to do on a Friday afternoon. I think I will celebrate the end of this shitty week by going to see Battle of the Sexes after work and hitting up my favorite tchotchke shop which is by the theater. It is payday after all!
