I watched all of season one of Stranger Things last week not even realizing that the new season was about to premiere. I just have good timing I guess! I liked it though I think it is a bit overrated. And just fucking kill me before trying to make me care about Mike and Eleven’s true love. I’ve watched all but the last two episodes of season 2 so far and it’s not bad. At first I was like “Oh what relief, Winona Ryder can do something other than run around screaming hysterically this season” and then another fucking thing happened to Will so now she’s back to season 1 mode.

I probably won’t be able to finish the season tonight because we’re recording an episode of the podcast, but The Vampire Diaries is Halloween-appropriate viewing at least. If it’s not too late when we finish I’ll probably watch some Halloween episodes of TV shows or the first half of Labyrinth or something.

I’m 5 episodes into season 2 of Stranger Things. Still enjoying it – the 5th episode was one of the best so far of the new season. I do not like the new guy from California. Not only because his character is a douche, but because he seems like more of a caricature. Not sure if it’s his acting or the writing, but it’s too over the top.

I don’t like scary stuff. But The Lake House is on Amazon Prime now and it features a spooky mail box. I watched it last night and went to bed sobbing.

Traumatizing news. All of a suddenly Lifetime has put the new season of Project Runway behind the paywall on Roku, so I guess I’m not going to find out what happens until it’s on Hulu or something? Unles you guys spoil it for me, which I am fine with tbh..

I was doing a pretty good job watching Stranger Things until SPOILER the at-cay got eaten-hay, and I was so disturbed by that (I was watching it on National Cat Day!!) I think I need to take a mini-break. I might not be a big enough fan it pick it up again. Sorry, Duffer brothers. When will there be a spooky tv show with no jump scares and no dead cats??? I beg Satan to please provide this to me!!

WTF is up with Lifetime doing that all of a sudden? And right at the end of the season? I was tired of watching it on their website anyway. I could cast it to my TV, but the ads were so annoying, especially the ads for some farm and fleet store and ads for the CURRENT season of Project Runway. Hey dummies! I’m literally watching this show right now. Why are you showing an ad for it?

You can buy individual episodes on Google Play for $1.99. No need for the HD version. I bought the cheap one and it looks fine. Plus, no commercials!

Yeah I was already like “Dustin you are an idiot step on that thing” and then the cat scene happened and now he is officially on my shit list.

I watched John Carpenter’s The Thing. True old school special effects, and I STILL get confused as to who is and who isn’t still human during the film…
