I’m almost done with Godless. The last episode is two hours long, and I don’t have the time or the attention span to watch all that in one sitting.

The newest season of Younger just got added to Hulu, so as soon as I’m done with the gritty, depressing Western, I’ll switch to the fluffy, entertaining show that I missed since I no longer have cable.

Younger is so good! Maybe I’ll rewatch that soon, I really love it. Can you sell me on Godless? I watched 13 minutes then decided it’s okay that I don’t have the attention span for some things.

I was way more invested in season 3 of Younger than I ever expected. So I am really looking forward to watching season 4.

I actually cannot sell you on Godless because I don’t think it’s that good. There are characters and plot points that I like, but overall, it’s just ok.

I don’t think Jeff Daniels is a good villain, and I personally think his performance is really hammy, but I also saw he was nominated for an award for this show, so maybe I am in the minority on that opinion.

I was reading a review of Godless on the A.V. Club, and one of the comments pointed out that the show marketed itself as a show about a town of women in the West, but that isn’t actually the main plot, and you know what? They are right. I thought I was bothered by the pacing or something, but once I read that comment, it clicked that the show just wasn’t focusing on what would probably be more interesting material.

I just found out that The Chase is now on Netflix. I used to watch it on GSN back when I had cable and I’ve missed it! It’s a trivia game show that I first saw on the hotel TV in Ireland where three people have to try to beat a trivia expert in a trivia contest. I liked the British version because they rotated between various experts whereas the American version just has this one guy who they call The Beast and they make jokes about his weight a lot which I hate but the show itself is very fun! I recommend it.

I started watching Hunted on Amazon last night not realizing it’s from 2012. You can’t tell, it doesn’t feel dated. Melissa George is a super spy/operative aptly named Sam Hunter who is trying to figure out who wants her dead. It’s good but only 8 episodes.

I got sucked into A Christmas Prince after that Netflix tweet about 53 people having watched it 18 days in a row. It’s a garden variety Hallmark-type movie that was perfectly fine if you like those things but I can’t imagine watching it every day for two weeks.
