Tell me about your plans, if you’re not traveling, and posting will resume on Tuesday!
Ugh you guys I dragged myself to the laundromat last night and on my way I was trying to walk through a crosswalk when this dude on a bike glided through the stop sign right in front of me and I said “Do you mind?” and he yelled “Fuck you” at me and sped off before I could yell “STOP SIGNS APPLY TO YOU, TOO, JACKASS” and I was so mad and then when I finished my laundry the old lady who owns the laundromat told me they are closing forever this weekend. It was already a pain in the ass going there because I had to take the train partway and I don’t know what I’m going to do about laundry now because that was the closest place.
Anyway, Christmas! Tonight I have to wrap the baby’s gifts and I’m going to watch some Christmas shit and drink hot chocolate cocktails and try to get in the spirit. I’ll be at my mom’s tomorrow through Monday which will be fun but also there will be five people crammed into my mom’s one bedroom apartment for three days which is always interesting. It’s a good thing I like my family!
I would never get any laundry done if I had to go to the laundromat. I don’t even know where any are around here.
Yeah, it’s the worst. It’s also tough because there’s a cleaners one block away from my apartment that does wash&fold but it’s like $20 per load.
I walk to one on my corner. It’s not the best activity.
Merry Christmas, you guys.
What’s everyone up to? I went to church with my parents then we went over to my brother’s and decorated cookies with my nephews. Now I’m watching Mindhunter, which is really quite good! Tomorrow we’ll go back to my brother’s to do presents and have Christmas lasagna, which is his wife’s tradition.
Damn. It’s Max from Happy Endings chugging egg nog in case you don’t want to click.
I’m in Maryland. Later today the fam is headed to an aunt’s house. She is 84 and can’t hear and insists on hosting a giant day-after party. Rumor has it this year she is just ordering us Papa Johns. Then tomorrow I go to New York to see the NJ & NYC friends.
Isn’t that the official pizza of the KKK? Have a good time in NY! I hear it snowed, and I’m not sure how much experience you have with snow, but apparently it’s quite cold.
