So, How Was Your Day?

Well, my building lost heat on a five degree evening (don’t worry, it’s fixed), but I also won $100 on a holiday scratch-off ticket, so it all worked out.

I’m at work today, but our office was closed Monday and Tuesday, and I’m using vacation days on Thursday and Friday, then our office is closed AGAIN next Monday and Tuesday, so I have lots of days off! I plan to be productive on some of these days. I also have family in town, so we’ll be hanging out.

It is 4 degrees outside, which is just terrible, but at least it is sunny.

I have food from my favorite Greek restaurant in my fridge, so I am very much looking forward to dinner and dessert tonight.

It’s like 70 degrees and sunny out but I’m back in the office today. There’s only one other person here today so it’s very empty and quiet. I’m enjoying a wonderful sandwich for lunch and I guess I don’t have any complaints. My vacation days reset next week so I’m daydreaming about where I’d like to travel next year. I have my eye on Costa Rica and Iceland, and I’ve become obsessed with taking a transcontinental train across Australia, and I’d like to live in Buenos Aires for a month. I’m dreaming big, we’ll see if anything materializes from it.

I never would have thought of Iceland as a travel destination until one of my friends went there and posted pictures on Facebook. It looks absolutely amazing.

I’m very jealous that you live in a place that is 65 degrees warmer than where I live.
