It’s Project Club Time!

I did my laundry! We’ve got another storm due to blow in this weekend, so my new project is to go grocery shopping and run all my other errands either tonight or tomorrow after work to avoid it.

Theresa have you listened to the new Thirst Aid Kit episode about Chris Evans? It seems important that you listen to it, especially since he calls in! https://cms.megaphone.fm/channel/thirstaidkit?selected=PPY7698874500

I spent six days playing Sid Meier’s Civilization VI (don’t worry, I won) so last night I decided to relax. I watched Mad Men and ate a steak and had a Manhattan while a robot I own swept and mopped the floor. Tonight maybe I will read. I am gearing up to start my next project, but don’t feel ready yet. I realize I will never feel ready, so I should just start the project unready and let it sort itself as it goes, but… Anyway, my floors are clean.

Lots of work stuff to do and that’s fine.
I have no home projects since Mr. Truck put together the cabinet we ordered. It’s mostly just the usual project: keep the kids happy and keep myself from going insane. The big one was sick this week and I’m hoping the little one doesn’t get it.

I have a lot of work projects to do. One of these projects has been on the back burner for way too long, so I’m hoping to at least get it started this weekend. I also have to make some edits to the freelance design project I’m working on, but that should be pretty quick.

Home projects include laundry, going through the mail, putting gas in my car, and getting an oil change. I would also like to work out on Saturday and Sunday.

Some people start projects, some avoid projects, and some have projects thrust upon them! EXAMPLE: In the mail today, I received a box with no return address. Within? A jar of something called “Postum.” It seems to be an instant coffee or hot chocolate mix. There is no note or invoice. So… who the heck sent it??

I have a memory, verrry hazy, of a passing conversation with someone 1-12 weeks ago in which they said “Ever hear of Postum? It’s great!” But I can’t remember who said this! And I can’t figure out who is so delightfully warped as to mail it to me at a cost of $6.65. I must know.

It wasn’t one of you, was it?

Thanks to school I have pretty much no time for anything. My Christmas tree is still up for example. I am making good progress on my first book of the year; I set my Goodreads goal at 25. School isn’t keeping me from reading on the bus. I’m also still managing to go to the gym and eat right, although I’m not sure how long I can keep that going if I can’t get my shit together at school. I figure I have a problem when my coding class is the “easy” one this quarter.
