You guys, season 3 of Better Call Saul was so good. I finished it over the weekend, and I want to give everyone involved a high five for a job well done.

Handmaid’s Tale starts again this week!!!

Do a UK sister a favour and warn before you guys discuss THT, please?! 😉
We have no release date here yet – most likely we’ll be a few weeks behind you!!

Bombshell news out of the Lethal Weapon community this week with an article that says the show is on the verge of cancellation because Clayne Crawford is too difficult to work with and the rest of the cast feels uncomfortable around him. But I’m hearing word that these are lies and he is actually well-liked, so I don’t know why these rumors got started. Season 2 isn’t as fun as Season 1, but I still enjoy the show.

I’m halfway through Bosch Season 4 and it’s really good. The odd thing is that the episodes tend to not have story arcs, but the season has several concurrent arcs, so it just feels like one long episode randomly broken up with opening and closing credits.

I have to bang the drum for The Good Fight again. You guys have to find a way to watch Season 2, it is excellent television. I’m also enjoying Killing Eve and Homeland. These are all great shows with strong female leads.

I saw that article about Clayne Crawford, and I was sad to hear he might be a dick. I mean, he was really good at playing a dick on Rectify, but his character had a lot of growth, so I assumed Crawford was just a great actor. I stopped watching Lethal Weapon, but I really liked it. I’ll have to find it on Hulu or YouTube TV.

Unforgotten on Masterpiece is still very good, and this week they solved the crime! But bad news, because they have another, new crime happening next week. No rest for the weary.

Other than that, my background noise tv viewing is old episodes of Top Chef, but I don’t know why because it actually makes me very angry. They’re all so snobbish about food and there’s so much waste! Like, who eats all those onions they chop up in their quickfire challenges? And then they make a whole entree, but the judges can only eat a little bit because they have to try twelve entrees? So all that food is just pitched, I guess? And stop pretending like using bacon in things makes you down to earth and cool chefs! And stop calling everyone chef! Pfft, get off my practical, midwestern lawn, I guess.

Even worse! What about all the food they stock in the pantry that doesn’t get used? I hope the staff gets to take it home but probably a ton of food gets thrown away.

That second series of Unforgotten is going to blow your mind. A) because it’s complex AF to keep up with, but B) because of what they do in the final episode… 🙂

Walking Dead ended, but then Fear the Walking Dead started up, and even though I have NEVER seen an episode of this show, they did a good job of making this a “jumping in” spot for new viewers, with a lateral move from a Walking Dead character and two new characters (with backgrounds on Lost, Terminator, and the Mindy Project). I’ll give this one a try. The first two episodes were good. Apparently the show has a new runner who is changing up things (and while I can’t speak to the previous seasons, the general consensus online is that it’s a definite improvement). We’re recording the final season of The New Girl but for some reason have not hit play on the saved episodes.
