I’m at the aeroport awaiting a flight to NJ for a wedding. It should be fun! The wedding, not the aeroport. Potential con: I did not ask if I could leave work 6 hours early today, and as I was getting into my Lyft to do exactly that, my boss happened to step outside and see it happen. I felt like I ought to hit the floor and yell “DRIVE!”

But I only made a face like :-0

Enjoy your week, my fellow monsters.

  2. My day was pretty good!
I gave a big presentation for this leadership training program at work and my group won!!! We all did really well and I wasn’t too nervous. My boss and our EVP were there and that was great.
I also did a bunch of work for this other project for our EVP so it was kind of cool being like “hey I won and also here’s that work that you asked for”
Tonight I hung out with my family and just ate two lemon cookies!!! Yummy!!!

It’s midnight and I have to be at the airport in four hours. If I could I’d take a nap but I think I’m in for a long day of being over tired. I miss the days when I could get on a plane and pass out. See you guys on the other side (of the country).
