I’m very cold and my nose won’t stop running, but otherwise my day is good! I can’t believe it’s already late October.
Your post reminds me that when I was about six, I answered the phone (it had a cord and was attached to the kitchen wall) and a guy said, “Hi, I’m just calling to find out if your refrigerator is running.” I said, “I don’t know, I’ll check.” I walked over and opened it and then said, “Yes.” And HE said, “Well, you better catch it before it gets away!”
Oh my gosh, I did not see that coming, and I fell apart. Kid Me was utterly delighted. Does anyone even make prank calls anymore? You guys, let’s make prank calls. Thanks for taking me back, Ms Couchman.
That’s amazing. We get prank calls at the office on occasion but they’re never very clever. It’s just kids talking in weird voices asking if they can order a pizza then hanging up.
I’m busy busy but the hunt is this weekend so once that’s over and once I figure out how I want to vote on 20 different ballot measures then I’ll have a little more free time to plan my trip. I anticipate things being calm by December.
I’m voting for the first time in MD and I have no idea what I’m doing. I know where to vote though, so at least I’ll show up!.
My day was tiiiired. It’s the insomnia time of year, where short days make my brain go wonky. I slept until 10:30 when my dog decided it was time to walk on my bladder. So instead of working, I played Starcraft and did laundry.
Sounds like a good day. I fell into a movie-watching spiral and went to bed at 2 am, but don’t remember all the movies and then never got to be more than 80% asleep. Bad move, as I had to get up at 6:40, earlier than usual, for work. Also fun, at some point in the middle of the night, I sat up wide awake at a knock on the door — but I think it was only a dreamed noise, not the junkies again. So… wonky here too.
This comment is hard to follow. I’m sorry. I had no real sleep. Poor me.
I hate that feeling when you think you heard something! Luckily my dog will let me know, he’s little but loud.
