Mine was great! It had the perfect balance of socializing, being productive, and being a lazy slug who didn’t leave the couch.

I’m happy to report that Friday’s Vegetarian Friendsgiving went well. I thought there were going to be six of us, but then as the date neared, people asked if they could bring people and we ballooned to ten. Hooray! It is the best, having more people. We made a ton of food, and people brought food and wine, and the only bad thing is that it ended all too soon. You guys, I like dinners with friends. I also want to give a shout-out to KXLU, my favorite radio station; they were on point all Thanksgiving Day during the prep.
Tonight I go home for the first time in five days and face the tiny refrigerator. Oy, I could not host ten people out of this fridge. Me plus one will push it.
I was mostly a lazy slug. I made good use of my free trial of Amazon Prime by watching Fleabag and the short film The Accountant (made by Ray McKinnon who made Rectify, not the Ben Affleck movie of the same name).
I did manage to be mildly productive, but really not nearly as productive as I should have been with a four day weekend.
And I bought a bunch of stuff online because Black Friday sales were on point. I also went grocery shopping, and found a Buy One, Get One Free sale of Fannie May Mint Meltaways. These are the best candy, and also pretty expensive, so I even saved money doing grocery errands.
