Happy New Year!

Wow wow wow. I don’t want to jinx things, especially because I’m home sick today, but we’ve almost made it through the insanity of 2019. What are your plans for tonight? Do you make New Year’s resolutions? On one hand, the new year (and new decade) are a good opportunity to evaluate our lives and think about what we want to do with our precious time on earth. On the other hand, thinking about stuff seems like a lot of work. Share your thoughts and resolutions if you so choose! If not share something mundane like what are you watching right now. I’m almost done with the new season of Lost in Space. That Robinson family is a walking problem factory, those people are always in mortal danger.

Well somehow I managed to disable the comment section, I have no idea how, but I clicked some stuff and I think we’re back in business.

Happy New Year everyone! It’s Theresa, I still don’t know what happened to my WordPress account, and I’m sorry I’ve, uh, completely disappeared. I’m fine!! I hope everyone else is also fine!!

On my yearly visit to New Jersey, I was introduced to the show Difficult People, and it gave me joy. Happy 2020, monsters.

What’s it about? I need a show to watch while waiting for stuff to pick up again.

It’s on Hulu. My friends showed me S2E7 and then S2E10 and I was hooked, so I’d watch one of those first, then go to S1E1, because I’m finding the show takes a while to hit its stride.

Happy new year to you all! I had a wonderful long holiday vacation with family, where I mostly forgot about work and important impending life decisions. I’m putting off those thoughts for one more night during my trip back home 🙂

We started watching The Mandalorian yesterday and baby yoda was, indeed, very cute. Somehow even his floating basket was cute. I believe the whole show was developed via intensive focus groups to identify the most cute things to put next to a mostly silent armored cowboy.

I also saw little women and while I enjoyed it, it just made me yearn a lot for the 1994 little women. We went home and turned on the 1994 soundtrack and all was right in the world and I found myself choking up. Wow, I didn’t realize so much emotion was tied up with the score of that movie!

I know it’s not thanksgiving but I’m so thankful for all of you guys this new year! Here’s to a good 2020.

Ooh the baby Yoda Show! I love him. I read great things about Little Women (2019). I don’t remember the old soundtrack. How are the life decisions coming? I have some of my own in progress. Any tips are appreciated!

Oh gosh I have no tips, I feel like I’m absolutely shooting in the dark right now. I’m applying to jobs and there is no focus to the search…jobs all over the country, locally, focusing on different topics. I work for the government and this seems like a totally normal approach, you just apply to everything and hope for the best! I guess my strategy to stay sane is to be open to huge life changes that are coming and not make any long-term decisions for the next 6 months in order to accommodate those changes.

Now in reality, I’d like to buy a tv so I can really hunker down and commit to some shows, but buying a tv is a Long-Term Decision so it has to wait! I’m considering meals to be short term decisions, so I’m focusing on cooking as something I can control right now.

This probably wasn’t helpful advice. All the same, I’m sending you good thoughts as you make your life decisions!
